Welcome to the Presidents' Forum!
The Presidents' Forum, established in 2004, is a collaboration of accredited, national, adult-serving institutions and programs which have embraced the power and potential of online education. The Mission of the Presidents' Forum is to advance the recognition of innovative practice and excellence in online learning. This is accomplished by providing a venue for leaders in higher education and stakeholders to share their knowledge and learn from others' best practices.
Serving Adult Learners: Advancing the Nation's Competitive Edge another successful Presidents' Forum event
The last Forum program focused on discussions of “State Reciprocity: The Recognition and Credibility Conundrum” and “The Media Perspective on Online Learning.” The keynote address was delivered by Laura Palmer Noone, Past President of the University of Phoenix. Read the final program and the minutes from the Forum.
Our audience included the presidents and senior staff of most of the major online educational programs and institutions in the U.S., representatives from those traditional schools with significant online programs (i.e. Boston University, Penn State University, University of Maryland), state and federal regulators and accreditors, as well as representatives of the media.
